PFI Membership Criteria and Dues
Promotional Membership $25 for six months:
PFI is pleased to offer an introductory membership of six months. This will allow interested parties to sample PFI membership or to join for a temporary period. Promotional membership may be utilized only once and must be renewed as a Professional or General member.
Professional Member:
Sworn law enforcement officers, educators, trainers, researchers
or other professionals who possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree
and whose professional responsibilities include research and development.
$50.00 US annually or $500.00 US for a LIFE Membership
General Member:
Individuals interested in the application of Futures Research to
law enforcement.
General members in good standing at the end of five years consecutive
membership may apply in writing to the Executive Board to have their
membership converted to Professional member status.
$50.00 US annually or $500.00 US for a LIFE Membership
Institutional Member:
An organization (public or private sector), university, college,
or training facility that has an active law enforcement research
and/or high technology organizational component.
Such members are authorized 3 designated representatives. This is
a non-voting membership.
$500.00 US annually
Student Member:
Individuals 26 years or younger who are currently enrolled as full-time students at an accredited university, college or other institution of higher learning that has regional accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Any questions regarding eligibility for student membership may be directed to the Membership Director.

Charter Member:
Charter Members are the founding members of PFI.
$45.00 US annually or $450.00 US for a LIFE Membership
